The most random night….ever
Here’s the scene: Cassidy and I are sitting on my bed, watching my R2 DVD of Howl’s Moving Castle. My apartment is trashed because I’ve been cleaning EVERYTHING since the departure of my roommate. There’s a knock on my door. ‘Who the heck is that?’ I’m thinking. Open the door to find Karen AND Dr. Johnson standing here (the student services coordinator and the resident director). My first though is ‘what the heck did I do??’. Then Dr. Johnson starts to tell me that he is going around to everyone’s rooms and is personally apologizing for his behavior last night. So I’m just like “um…..I don’t really know what you are talking about”. “Well, last night I got a bit drunk and did something out of character and something that wasn’t appropriate for JCMU, so I want to apologize.” So I’m just kind of standing there….thinking uhhhh….. And then Karen just on the offhand says, “Oh by the way, you are getting a Japanese roommate. She is moving in a couple days after the break.”
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
My dreams and aspirations of being roommate-less are now shattered.
:(
Let’s hope that this roommate is a good roommate, because this will be my 3rd one in 4 months. So…so sad.
So anyway, after asking around a bit, I found out that apparently Dr. Johnson got drunk last night (along with everyone else, since finals were over), and got into a physical altercation with two other students. JCMU is really a very screwed up place….
