Last night I went to Coco’s with Cassidy and with all of our conversation partners to enjoy their new ‘winter’ dessert menu, which has many yummy strawberry dishes on it. When we were done eating, we left the restaurant to find it pouring out. Since the academic building (which is connected to Coco’s) was already locked, we had to run out into the rain to get to the door to the dorm building. Oh what fun that was. Then, around 1am it began thundering. I think this is the first thunderstorm I’ve been in in Japan, in December no less. So this morning I wake up and look out the window to see if the rain has stopped, only to find snow on the ground!! That and it is very very cold here. Don’t forget that we have NO central heating here. Yes, I miss the US. :(
So I took my camera into class today, to get some pictures of the snow. While I was there I took some covert shots. Japanese in action!! So exciting….
