And with this post comes to close our fridge odyssey. We ended up not getting a new fridge, like we had originally been told, but instead were shown where an ‘extra’ fridge was sitting (plugged in, in a tub in the laundry area), and were told that we could use it, and that we’d just have to clean it out “a little”. 45 minutes later, my roommate and I had finished scrubbing out all the mold that was in this new fridge, wheeled it up to our room, and plugged it in. Here are the results:
