The structure of the intensive Japanese classes here at JCMU is such that we go over a new chapter in the textbook (it has 12 chapters) every week, and at the end of the week, we have a test. Well, today is the first test. Luckily, it mostly covers things that I had learned in my 1st year of Japanese at U of M, so I didn’t have to study too much. After the test, class is over and we have to practice for the “opening ceremony” where apparently a bunch of Japanese officials and press people are gonna come and take pictures of the gaijin. After that its the weekend! I’m hoping to go to Kyoto tomorrow, or anywhere really, because if I’m stuck inside this place for another day I might go insane. I hope today to have time to post lots of pictures on my site too. :)
