		<description>Nikki,

I was thinking about you last night as I read a book called the "Snow Fox" about feudal Japan when the samurai were one of the ruling parties. The book is quite interesting. Your travails in the kitchen are quite amusing. Sounds like us trying to cook on a two burner hot plate while our kitchen was being remodeled. Nothing like doing the dishes in the bathtub! But at least the hot plate was relatively clean.

How many hours are you in class during the day versus having free time? Does it feel safe to tool around in the community by your self? Are you going to get a basket on your bike to haul larger appliances like 'fridges,if necessary. Hint: In Turkey, all appliances are referred to as "white furniture."

We had 90 degrees yesterday and a nice little thunderstorm in the P.M. (Well, Rita didn't think it was all that nice.)

All for now,

Love, Gail</description>
